Stacia Vaughn

Stacia has contributed to the field of special education for the past three decades. Her professional background is P/K-12 special education where she has worked as a special education teacher and case manager, coordinator/administrator of state and federally funded programs, behavior consultant, and instructional coach. In addition, Stacia has served as adjunct faculty at The University of Montana in the area of early childhood special education and K-12 literacy. She has provided professional development to preservice and inservice educators locally, regionally, nationally and abroad for the U.S. Department of Defense Dependent Schools. At the state level, Stacia has served as President of the Montana Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC) as well as its Division for Early Childhood. She has been an administrator at the Missoula Area Education Cooperative since 2018 and currently serves as the Director. Stacia lives in Missoula and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
