Maira, who goes by Myda (Spanish name), graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula in spring of 2023 and is excited to begin working as a school speech therapist. She grew up in Rapelje, Montana which is a very small farming town in southern Montana where she helped her parents in their beekeeping business. Maira is an avid baker, gardener, and outdoor recreationist. She is excited to be part of the Cooperative and work in rural schools - which are close to her heart. She really enjoys learning about phonology and literacy, apraxia of speech, as well as social-emotional learning. Maira is thrilled to be part of this team and to be part of the school communities in the Superior and Alberton areas!
